FUNDAMENTALS OF TATTOOING
Build real tattoo knowledge — a strong theoretical foundation
This course is designed for artists and future tattooists who want a structured, professional foundation before stepping deeper into tattooing.
It’s ideal if you’ve already started tattooing without guidance and want to understand the fundamentals properly — or if you’re passionate about tattooing and want to begin your path with real knowledge, respect for the craft, and professional standards.

You’ll learn the essentials behind the profession: machines, needles, materials, skin basics, and new technologies — plus the history of tattooing, from its cultural roots to the legends and style movements that shaped modern tattooing.

Includes access to the full 5-week course (20 hours) in a small group (max. 6) at ESTP Berlin. Teaching materials used during class are included (presentations/handouts), plus checklists and a curated reference list (equipment, workflow, professional standards). Ticket is non-refundable.
